The Deets...

Cycle #10 if you count our misscarriage cycle.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and for those that are not up to par with their infertility lingo, it basically means that I don't ovulate.  You ask "Don't you have to ovulate to get pregnant?" Ding Ding Ding... Well, nothing gets by you does it?  Just kidding.  Yes, this is correct.  I have to take Clomid, a fertility drug, to make my body do its thing.

That leads us to where we are at this point in time.  Our wounds are not healed from the misscarriage by any strech of the imagination.  We are both scared to death to get pregnant again, but if we can get the end result, it's absolutely worth the risk.

So, follow along on my adventures in baby making.  I promise it will be an exciting ride of ups and downs.

I just found your blog & read through all of your posts. My Husband and I have been trying for about a year and a half. I ovulate, have a period like clockwork, have normal hormone levels, and all that jazz. I've been on's just not happening. & it seems like every doctor I visit is a bigger idiot than the one before. Your blog is inspiring for me, to see that it can happen.
